Items Impacting on Cost
Package Ordered: The package ordered based on the client's specific needs and the number of examinees will impact on the overall cost. A basic polygraph examination will cost R580 per person, and in advanced packages, be as much as R1,200 per person. Regarding our bulk order policy; we will only consider a 10% discount when more than 10 people have to be tested.
Place of Examination: We can do the test either at our office or on-site. If clients require us to conduct examinations at their place of business, travel cost of R4.20 per KM may apply.
Intepreter Fees: All our examiners are English and Afrikaan speaking. If the person to be tested is not well conversant in either of these languages, an intepreter fee of about R480 per day may apply.
Overnight Accomodation: Depending on the number of people to be tested and the package ordered, Examiners may have to spend the night at a cost of about R500. At times it is more cost effective for examiners to stay over, instead of aditional travel cost back at night and to return in the morning.
Testimoney: The cost for an examiner to testify at disciplanary hearings will only be considered if a case reach that stage. It is not possible to determine such cost before an interview or polygraph test, as you do not know who will pass or fail, and if fail, whether that matter will be disputed. In the case one of our examiners are required to testify to their observations and findings, we need to be informed at least 4-days in advance. The cost will be R390 per hour, and exclude travel and accomodation. If we have to testify in a criminal court, the Dept of Justice carry our cost.
Reproduction Cost: With some of our products, we record voice and or video of interviews, and clients may require this to be packaged for training-, legal- or court purposes. To generate copies we have to recover the digital media from our servers and cut it to suitable media at a cost of R290 an hour.
